I am trying to extend the internet connection provided by my modem to other rooms. I want to use the coaxi cable going to the modem and insert the axing (between wall and modem). It goes from wall to input axing, the output axing to the input of the modem. Afterwards the Internet output from the modem to the axing internet connection. hope now it is clear. apologies the confusion.
Uh no, that's not how it works. Cable modem with its own coax cable stays together directly connected to the coax outlet for the modem. You can only connect the Axing via ethernet to the modem and then you connect the Axing via coax to the socket in your room. In another room you connect the other Axing to a coax outlet and then you can connect an ethernet cable to it for PC, TV, etc.
I'm not exactly sure if i understand the use of yours exactly. But with this product it's possible to connect your UPC Modem via Ethernet to the Axing and from there you connect the Axing to a Coax Outlet in your wall and for example in the next room you put the other Axing again to a Caax Outlet and can then connect another Ethernet cable to access the Internet. It's kinda like a Powerline.
