Possibly one of the best JRPGs to have been released in a long time, and likely the best Persona game in the franchise. It takes all the best features of the previous games (compelling story, quirky and memorable characters, dungeon crawling, relationship sim, day-to-day time management) and improves on them, delivering a well-rounded and thoroughly enjoyable gaming experience. The voice acting is good (I downloaded the original Japanese voice overs, so I can't comment on the other languages), the story enthralling, and the game is longer than I expected. Visually, the game is stunning. It is quite stylised, and reminded me of a comic book, which suits it extremely well. It may not live up to some gamers' standards, particularly those used to the high quality graphics on the PS4 regarding AAA titles, but it should be noted that this was also released for the PS3. This doesn't hinder the game visually, at all. We're also treated to anime cut scenes that push the story and action along in a very fluid and seamless way. One area in which the game excels is the variety it offers you when it comes to gameplay. You can spend time managing your day (studying, doing laundry, reading, working, etc.) and getting to know your peers better (which does have an affect on the combat), and then move straight onto exploring labyrinthine dungeons and solving puzzles. Each of the different dungeons have different themes and puzzles so the gameplay never becomes stagnant. Lastly, it should be noted that while this game doesn't offer true multiplayer (hence the 1* rating), it does allow you to 'connect' to other players online and see what they've chosen to do at a particular time of day, or what answer they've given to a question in class, or to exchange personas with them.
