4K and FAST!

Long time Xbox user, so perhaps a little biased, but I think the new console is excellent. loading and installing times are super fast. and gaming in 4K is just great!

Looking forward to some excellent gaming on this console for the foreseeable future!

Update: Now having had it for a little longer: it's really been excellent. No PC at this price point comes close, and Game Pass Ultimate makes it even better!

Interesting review. It doesn't compare the product to it's competition, which is obviously PS5. It loses on every single dimension that is recognisable by a player, while it has the same "features" you describe, that are not unique to xbox.

On the xbox product:
- The interface is terrible, there is absolutely no game discovery possible in the "microsoft store", lol
- Controller comes without a rechargeable battery (!!!)
- Controller is not able to charge a rechargeable battery, even if you buy one after market (!!!)
- Controls are so counter-intuitive, that I had to google how to get back from in-game to the xbox menu (and I build my own watercooled PCs)
- Great environmental contribution to ask customers to use your product with throw-away batteries that last 10 hours

I don't even know where to start. It's so short and disappointing vs the competition, it's actually unbelievable.

What can I say other than: I'm not interested in going into a console war discussion.
But to answer your "points":

+ I love the interface. It's great and intuitive for for me and apparently millions of others.
+ Controller indeed does not come without a rechargeable battery, but when you buy the play & charge kit you can charge it with the controller.
+ I can't comment on your personal experience. For me the UI is excellent. (building a PC has nothing to do with using a console)

I'm not commenting on your "comparison", as I see myself (and you) as biased. I hope you enjoy whatever hardware you're gaming on though.
