I bought it for the golf functions. Gives you a good analysis of your game, with maps of the course that you can look at afterwards on a phone or computer, showing each shot, distance, etc. You can add which club you used to provide even more detail on how to manage your game.
You need to play a few rounds and experiment with it, however, as the user interface is not particularly intuitive, in my opinion. The touch screen is easy to use, but sometimes too sensitive and will change if the watch face brushes against your sleeve. Sometimes does not automatically move to the next hole, so you have to manually adjust. Asks you if your tee shot landed on the fairway, although it tracks the shot by GPS so I don't know why it asks you this. Apparently tracks your shots but can't tell you how many you've taken to get to the green. Finding satellites can take some time, so you need to start that before you get to the first tee, but not too much before the tee, otherwise it starts measuring distances when you are nowhere near the hole.
Consistently difficult to pair with other devices using bluetooth, which is surprising to me in this day and age. Non-golf functions (step counter, heart rate) seem to work ok, but sleep monitoring is not very good ... has me consistently sleeping until 11:00 a.m. no matter when I actually get up, so you may need to do some manual adjusting. Charge seems to last for a few days, maybe a couple of rounds of golf.
So, all in all, a product designed with a lot of ambitious functions that don't always work ... which at this price should work more reliably, in my opinion.…plus
