Using a single switch with firmware version 1.11 with the android app v2.03. Not experiencing so many of the connection issues others have reported. Sometimes the app will not reconnect to the switch, but restarting the app fixes the problem. Sometimes the app will crash in such situation, saving me the time to kill it.
Before using this switch I have used a mechanical one, with a disk, followed by an electronic one that required me to read the user manual every time I wanted to change the settings. This one is by far the most practical one. The electricity consumption is a nice additional feature.
The software is mostly intuitive, it is easy to program on/off times for specific weekdays and the graphics are beautiful.
It is possible to change the name of the switch from clip-clap-nnnn to something more meaningful, as well as change the password from the factory default of 0000 in the settings of the device, by holding the name of the device pressed in the device list. A nice feature is the possibility to switch off the LEDs.
One small quirk of the software is the price for electricity is calculated with an error factor of 1000, the software thinks CHF 0.20 is for 1 Wh instead of 1 kWh.
Basic testing shows that in case of a power interruption the switch comes back in the "ON" state. It will then stay on until it is reprogrammed. This might be an issue in some applications. It would have been much better if the switch had included a radio-controlled clock and a way to save its programming.
Overall a nice product. It could have been very nice, unfortunately it seems the product development and release may have been a little bit rushed.
