I bought two of these over the HyperX 2X32GB set running at 2666 MHz (taking the risk of them not matching). The memory works fine and passes all tests I could throw at it. The 64 GB is excellent for running numerical simulations. However, the higher frequency causes my MSI GS66 laptop to run noticeably more hot and noisy than with the original 16 GB set of memory, which runs at 2666 MHz. Ultimately I decided to underclock the memory to get back to original temperatures. This is probably something to take into consideration when buying memory for a laptop.…more
