Can I also put 4 gb ram in the Synology 1512+? Or is this the only one that works?

The Synology 1512+ is equipped with an Intel® Atom™ Processor D2700. According to the data sheet (ark.intel.com/products/59683), this processor can process a maximum of 4 GB of RAM.
In user forums, no clear direction can be discerned, 3 GB always work without problems, with 4 GB it obviously depends very much on the memory used (forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopic.php?t=93969).
So I

would rather recommend 3 GB, because hardly any supplier will take back used memory sticks if they don't work.
