I've seen on the official MSI forums tons of buyers having a hard time installing the new BIOS version compatible with Ryzen 3000. Has anyone here managed to flash the BIOS and get a Ryzen 3000 (e.g. Ryzen 5 3600) working easily?

I personally have a hard time getting my x570 motherboard to work properly with my 3700x. I'm not sure it's any worse with a B450, the BIOSes are unstable and it will take some patience.

Small update: I flashed the BIOS v18 with the flashback button, and no problems since. I was able to install Windows, everything works fine and no stability issues or anything.

According to my experience, it does not work or only works unstably with Ryzen 3700X (Bios 7C02v19 or 7C02v1A1), despite manufacturer's information to the contrary (https://www.msi.com/Motherboar...).

Yes, but it's work. I put in the v.19 bios to be able to enter the bios.

Yes, it can be easily done with a USB flash drive. The new version of the BIOS supports Ryzen 3000. Just keep in mind you cannot install an older BIOS after updating.
I recommend this motherboard for Ryzen 3600 series. For the others better get a X470 or X570 motherboard.
