Helpful answer

The monitor worked wonderfully with my MacBook Pro Early 2015. It does not work with the new MacBook Pro 13'' 2020 with a Satechi adapter. I will still test if it works with Displayport to USB-C.

Yes, with the appropriate adapter or cable this is no problem. I recommend a Thunderbolt/MiniDP to DisplayPort cable. For example, the following product: Lindy Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Cable (2m, Entry, White)
