According to rtings.com (https://www.rtings.com/headphones..., https://www.rtings.com/headphones...), both are about equally good for gaming. The Blacksharks are a bit better in sound. In the end, it comes down to personal preference. I would go for the Blacksharks, the Kraken are too clunky for me. And the Blacksharks are currently available for 64.-, so it should be clear :)

Haven't tried the Kraken (struggled with the same question) but the Blackshark is great so far. very light and comfortable, can be used for long sessions.

with the kraken you just have more gaming feeling because of the colours on the headphones. but when you have them on you don't see the colours anyway... the blackshark is really great! and costs practically half the price. i would buy the blackshark again.
