Question about OtterBox Car Dash & Windshield Mount for MagSafe
Is the Otterbox version, which charges the iPhone wirelessly, also available at digitec? With this cheap version, the cable has to be plugged into the iPhone for it to charge. If Magsafe is already available, it should also be used to its full extent, i.e. to hold and charge ... and not only, as in this case, only holding! There is a USA version with a plug on the Otterbox ... is this also available in Switzerland? Thank you!
Unfortunately, we only have this version of the Otterbox smartphone holder in our range.🙁
Not from Otterbox as far as I know.
Optionally, there is this variant: Avizar MagSafe iPhone Car Mount
But I prefer the version from OtterBox (without wireless) and am very happy with it. Because if you get in & out of the car often & the iPhone only has short charging intervals as a result, this can massively shorten the life of your battery. You need a cable to the wireless charger anyway. That's why I like to take my time and only connect my iPhone to the strohm when it really needs it. But of course that's a matter of taste and up to you ;-)
