Is it possible to use e.g. Yealink T48G over a distance of at least 7 m - i.e. would the telephone be supplied with power via POE over this distance or would it be better to use a power supply unit? Use as a business telephone!

It should not be a problem to supply the telephone with power over this distance.
Cat. 5e / 6 etc. can be laid up to 100 metres.

Of course, it also depends on the thickness of the cable how much power reaches the end user in the end. The longer the cable, the more loss.
But over such a short distance this is not a problem.

No problem, but the switch is power-passive. This means it must be supplied via PoE. The outgoing power is then also dependent on the supplier. The description says the following: "Is supplied with power via the PD port and can itself pass on PoE to 2 ports (power budget depending on incoming PoE power).
