I'm deciding between this camera and the Sony FDR AX33. I need the camera for indoor shots, in rather poor (dark) light conditions and rather fast movements. Unfortunately, I have read about both cameras that they don't deliver the best video quality in low light. If this is the case, can I return the camera? If so, how much of a price reduction should I expect (the refund guidelines were not very clear). Thank you for your feedback.
Maybe I can help you. I actually had the Sony FDR AX33 and used the cam for indoor shots from above (with and without studio lights). The quality is not bad but I found the noise annoying. Then I bought a Panasonic GH4 and I am TOP satisfied. The only thing that annoys me about the GH4 is the video limit. It's 30 minutes! That's why I'm thinking of buying the HC-VX11EG-K or a 4K camcorder, but like you I'm a bit undecided because the GH4 actually delivers a great picture.
