Question about ASUS Rog Strix Z370-E Gaming
I have the problem that this RAM (HyperX Fury (2x, 4GB, DDR4-2133, DIMM 288)) does not boot. Any idea? RAM are not defective, they still worked before the new CPU and mainboard.

If the RAM is not defective, then the mainboard is. Otherwise, try out the RAM on different slots. If you still have other DDR4 bars, you can also try them out on the mainboard. Also check whether the RAM is really properly locked in place. (That is, whether the "clicking noise" comes.)
have now changed the slots again. No effect. Then back to the first set-up that didn't work - now it works. I'm afraid I actually just didn't press hard enough and they didn't engage properly. Anyway, thank you very much for the help
