I have 2 Sigma lenses from my old Canon EOS Elan II film camera. Could they be compatible with this camera?
Yes, that works in principle. This is the same connection -> Canon EF. However, this camera here uses an APS-C format, the Canon EOS Elan II a full format. You can use full-frame lenses on APS-C (not vice versa). Note, however, the cropfactor, which usually increases the focal length by a factor of 1.5-1.6. A 50mm lens then becomes a 75mm lens, for example. Full-frame lenses are generally heavier and more expensive than APS-C lenses.
PS: It is possible that the autofocus of older Sigma lenses does not work on the new cameras.
