I bought this thing to connect my Logitech MX sounds to a PC without Bluetooth. The PC only has Bluetooth 2.0 inputs. When gaming, I noticed that the sound only comes with a delay of approx. 1 second (e.g. shooting sound 1 second after the gun is fired). Is this due to the Bluetooth 2.0 input? Will the latency disappear with a Bluetooth 3.0 input? Thank you
So I could imagine that, as you mention, an (internal) latency arises from the fact that the sound comes from your graphics card on the one hand and has to be provided again via Bluetooth on the other. I'm afraid that USB 3.0 won't help either? I use the TP-LINK UB400 for the use of game controllers, such as PS4 controllers. This works without latency. Both with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. The path from the audio of the graphics card to the USB output = latency. You write about "Bluetooth 2.0 inputs". For the sake of completeness and to avoid misunderstandings, I must correct you. There are neither Bluetooth 2.0 nor Bluetooth 3.0 inputs. We are talking about USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 standard. These are physical hardware interfaces on your PC. As I said, this is clear to most people, but it should be mentioned again here. There are also various Bluetooth standards. Please search for them on the Internet, you will find them there. I hope I was able to help you and others. Thank you for your attention. Greetings to you.
