Question about be quiet! Dark Rock 3

I have the ASUS Z170 Deluxe with be quiet Dark Rock 3 and 4xCorsair Vengeance LPX RAM (33.5mm high). This is just fine but I had to move the fan up about 5 millimetres (this is very easy with the clamps, even after everything is already mounted). The actual be quiet block itself is no problem, but the fan is. If the RAM is even higher, the fan would have to be placed on the other side of the block, but then the airflow won't work unless you pull the air through the block instead of blowing it, but that's not advisable either.
So: Provided that Z170 Pro and Z170 Deluxe are built the same way, RAM up to 33.5 mm is possible with the be quiet Dark Rock 3.

digitec writes that AM4 sockets work. the instructions don't say anything about it. what's the truth ?

The minimum height (without fan) is 40 mm, which means that 32 mm RAM modules should fit without problems. Unfortunately, I don't know your mainboard and can't tell you whether the fan overhangs the RAM slots.
