What about the battery life? Can you get through a day with it?

Almost more important for me would be how it looks with the standby? Coming from the Macbook, it's a great feature that the Macbook only loses battery in the one percent range even in 4 days. I have an Asus Zenbook here that always drains the battery by 10-40% within 8 hours.
How is that with the Matbook?

Mine lasts about 7 hours with normal office work (some office, some internet, some youtube,...). 

I have never tested the standby mode. But you can also simply shut it down. Windows 10 now loads within 30 seconds or even less.

The battery is certainly a weak point of the device just over 6 1/2 hours OS is Linux. It's always a compromise between weight and long runtime.
