Frient Electricity meter reader
Question about Frient Electricity meter reader
Hello, I had the Ensor eRS801 digital electricity meter installed a few days ago and would like to have the values displayed/read out via Home Assistant, the customer interface has been activated. Is the Frient electricity meter reader compatible with this or would another item be more suitable? Does anyone already have experience with this? Many thanks for your support :)

Hello,
First you need to connect the Frient P1 to Home Assistant. I use Zigbee2MQTT and it is perfectly recognised.
Then you need to configure the "Energy, electrical network" section of Home Assistant. Normally the Frient P1 appears in the data sources.

Hello and thank you for your reply. I received the Frient P1 today and connected it to the Ensor eRS801 electricity meter. The LED on the Frient P1 only flashes yellow and searches for the Zigbee hub, but cannot establish a connection. I have an Aqara M3 with Zigbee 3.0 as my primary hub, just like the Frient P1. Could it be the Aqara M3 and should I get a different hub or am I just doing something wrong?
