Good evening I bought this laptop a few days ago and wanted to know if the warranty expires if I use the overclock function. Merci and have a nice evening
Hello. yes, the warranty is void - actually. Because you are operating the components outside the specifications stated by the manufacturer. The question is how relevant this is. If you only overclock with the supplied software tool, it is actually impossible for the manufacturer to prove it. Especially since the components all have protective devices. If they get too hot, they switch off or regulate down beforehand. So nothing can break. Otherwise they wouldn't supply the tool.
It's a different story when you screw something on, change the soldering and the like. That is, if you make changes to the hardware. And/or, for example, flash the bios of the graphics card and it then dies. The manufacturer notices this because you then no longer have the option of restoring the bios.
But you can play around with the software tool that comes with it. It really shouldn't break anything. And if you don't understand something, google it first. And test in small steps and with caution.
