Question about Milesight N1004-UPC 4K H.265 Mini PoE NVR Recorder

1st problem: I am looking for a list of compatible cameras from other manufacturers that can be operated with the NVR Milesight N1004PoE? I have not found anything on the net. I tried to connect an Axis camera via ONVIF and RSTP, but without success.



There is no official list of compatible cameras here, but the ONVIF & RTSP cameras are supported by Milesight. It is important to check in the GUI (Graphical User Interface) whether the port forwarding HTTP port as well as the RTSP port is open, you can also find more information on this here in the instructions on page 83: https://www.milesight.com/DownloadFi...


Problem 2: The NVR does not display a picture at resolutions higher than 1920x1080. The camera is a Milesight ISIS-MS-C5375 with 5MP.

This problem can also be fixed in the GUI (Graphical User Interface), if the port forwarding is open this should be fixed.


3rd problem: The camera does not show anything when I select the NVR via the IP address, but there is an image in the CMS. I have done all the updates.

Again, it is due to the opening of the ports, which should then work.

Regarding problem 2+3: There are fewer problems with Edge than with Chrome.
