Question about Intel Core i9-13900K

Given the recent controversy surrounding the failure of this processor and its 13th and 14th generation brothers, is Digitec planning a mass recall? Intel is remaining silent for the moment. There has been a firmware update to the processor that makes it less powerful, which is annoying...

Oh my God. Not good news. Unfortunately, I haven't assembled my new computer yet, so I can't pass judgement. My purchased Intel Core i9 - 13900K LGA 1700, 3 GHz, 24 Core processor is still unopened in its original packaging and is sleeping. After this "quote", however, I definitely don't want to install this processor and hope to be able to exchange it.

Very unlikely, as long as Intel does not do this itself. If your computer is unstable and occasionally produces a BSOD, it could be due to the CPU and would then be a normal warranty case.

Failure? Recent controversy?
Can you reference that?
Recall? What should I put in my 1700 socket then? A slower CPU?
I have no problems with the i13900K.It can get hot yes and it's barely possible to run at 6GHz consistently with the available coolers. With good fan software and sensible CPU utilisation settings, it works quite well.
