Does the set include a base station that is connected to an Internet/telephone provider's modem via a LAN plug?      The two handsets can then be positioned individually?

Answer

According to the specifications, the set is intended for the normal analogue connection. If you have e.g. Swisscom Allip, you can still connect the base normally to the corresponding connection of the Internet Box, according to the Swisscom manual. The additional station can then be placed anywhere (taking into account the range and construction of the apartment/house).
