Bought this cable to connect my Macbook Pro M1 to my Benq pd2700u Monitor, however I keep getting the - No Cable Connected message on the Monitor, any help?

I can confirm that I have the same problem with the link between my laptop and a printer or monitor.

I could only solve the problem with a docking station.
