Edition 18/2016 - Beim Einschalten ist der Zotac ZBOX CI543 NANO lautlos, aufgrund der lüfterlosen Bauweise bleibt dies aber auch unter voller Last so. Aufgrund das passiven Kühlung ist der Mini-PC jedoch etwas größer als die Konkurrenten. Unter andauernder Last wird der Core i5 jedoch gedrosselt auf eine Taktfrequenz von 1,3 GHz und das Gehäuse wird mit mehr als 50°C sehr stark erhitzt. Mit nur 11 Sekunden nach dem Einschalten bootet das Modell schneller als die Konkurrenten, zumal auch die USB 3.1 Anschlüsse eine Stärke darstellen.

Man muss dabei jedoch über die Schattenseite hinwegsehen, dass die Temperaturen im Betrieb gerne einmal sehr hoch steigen, immerhin aber nicht kritisch. Das System besticht außerdem durch seine hervorragende Performance und die große Anschlussvielfalt inklusive USB 3.1 und zwei Typ-C-Steckern. Fans von Zotac, die wieder auf eine Infrarot-Schnittstelle gehofft hatten, gehen allerdings leer aus. Insgesamt kann man hier dennoch eine klare Empfehlung aussprechen, insbesondere für alle Zwecke in den Bereichen Office und Multimedia. more
