Office

An office is generally a room or other area in which people work, but may also denote a position within an organization with specific duties attached to it (see officer, office-holder, official); the latter is in fact an earlier usage, office as place originally referring to the location of one's duty.

Depending on the size of the diaphragm, condenser microphones are divided into large diaphragm microphones and small diaphragm microphones. They are very sensitive and therefore ideal for studio recordings and finer sounds like flutes, acoustic guitars or surround sound. But they have a higher self-noise. Unlike other types of microphones, condenser microphones need power via phantom power.

Jack plugs are internationally widely used electrical connectors for the transmission of AC or DC voltage in the low voltage range (Safety Extra Low Voltage, SELV). The design is standardized by the EIA as RS-453 and by the IEC under 60603-11. The English name is TRS Connector, colloquially also audio jack.
