Description

The Yealink W56P is suitable for small businesses. Up to five mobile devices and five different SIP accounts can be operated with the base station. Four calls can be made simultaneously via a base station, and the connected mobile devices can be reached with just a few keystrokes.

IP-DECT telephone for small businesses
The W56P has the same base station as its smaller brother W52P. This allows ranges of up to 300 meters outdoors and 50 meters in buildings. The coverage area of the base station can be extended with up to six repeaters, which offers a wide range and additional flexibility.

standard configuration
The colour display with 2.4 inch and 240 x 320 pixels offers a good overview and increased comfort. In addition, a lithium-ion battery has been integrated in comparison to the W52P, which increases the standby time to up to 400 hours and the talk time to 30 hours. This eliminates the need for constant charging.

Special equipment
The handset has a 3.5 mm headset connector and the possibility to charge the device via USB as well as to protect the IP20-certified handset with a case. In addition, the charging station can now also be mounted on the wall and thus offers more placement options. The full-duplex speakers in combination with HD voice and CAT-iq 2.0 ensure good call quality.

VoIP

Voice over IP (VoIP, abbreviation of voice over Internet Protocol) commonly refers to the communication protocols, technologies, methodologies, and transmission techniques involved in the delivery of voice communications and multimedia sessions over Internet Protocol (IP) networks, such as the Internet. Ethernet
i

Ethernet

Ethernet play is a family of computer networking technologies for local area networks (LANs) commercially introduced in 1980. Standardized in IEEE 802.3, Ethernet has largely replaced competing wired LAN technologies.
Systems communicating over Ethernet divide a stream of data into individual packets called frames. Each frame contains source and destination addresses and error-checking data so that damaged data can be detected and re-transmitted.
The standards define several wiring and signaling variants. The original 10BASE5 Ethernet used coaxial cable as a shared medium. Later the coaxial cables were replaced by twisted pair and fiber optic links in conjunction with hubs or switches. Data rates were periodically increased from the original 10 megabits per second, to 100 gigabits per second.

Hands-free kit
i

Hands-free kit

A hands-free car kit, hands-free car kit or HFCK is a combination of speaker and microphone permanently installed in a device (e.g. mobile phone) or vehicle. The name is derived from the fact that neither loudspeakers nor microphones have to be routed to the ear or mouth, so hands remain free. Therefore, the term is also mistakenly used for so-called headsets.

Display properties

i

Display properties

A display device is an output device for presentation of information for visual, tactile or auditory reception, acquired, stored, or transmitted in various forms. When the input information is supplied as to electrical signal, the display is called electronic display. Electronic displays are available for presentation of visual, tactile and auditory information.

Display size
i

Display size

The size of a display is typically given as the distance between two opposite screen corners. One problem with this method is that it does not distinguish between the aspect ratios of monitors with identical diagonal sizes, in spite of the fact that a shape of a given diagonal span's area decreases as it becomes less square. For example, a 4:3 21" monitor has an area of ~211 square inches, while a 16:9 21" widescreen has an area of only ~188 square inches.

There are two types of batteries: primary batteries (disposable batteries), which are designed to be used once and discarded when they are exhausted, and secondary batteries (rechargeable batteries), which are designed to be recharged and used multiple times. W56P IP DECT-Phone
