Where the bear enters Switzerland, where eagles circle, marmots whistle and young chamois play, the world still seems to be in order. But nature idylls are threatened all over the country. Is there still room for wilderness and nature in harmonious cultivated landscapes, or does man claim total use?
Together with the Swiss National Park as the core zone of nature conservation, Val Müstair has received the label of a UNESCO biosphere reserve since October 2010: It does without major projects and is committed to the gentle use of nature.
In a project of the "Graubünden Forest" and "Biosfera Val Müstair" association, thirteen young people have worked through the exciting questions that arise about people and nature in an Alpine valley.
