Edition 25/2016- Der TP LINK AD7200 zeigt was technisch aktuell machbar ist. So bietet er 11ad-WLAN bei 60 GHz und dieses kann über kurze Distanzen deutlich mehr als 1 GBit/s transportieren. Aktuell gibt es jedoch noch keine passenden Clients. Damit ist der Router auf der Fensterbank aktuell noch gut anzusehen, in der Praxis ist dies jedoch noch nicht brauchbar. Aber auch wenn die ersten Clients 2017 auf den Markt kommen, begrenzt die Hardware-Architektur des AD7200 den Durchsatz zwischen LAN und WLAN auf die Gigabit-Ethernet-Grenze von 940 MBit/s.more

Genialer Router!

Sehr guter Router!
Benutze ihn seit 2 Wochen. Die Features sind sehr ausgiebig. Z.B. Das Fixieren einzelber mac- zu IP-Adressen benötogt einen Klick.

Auch did Handhabung ist extrem einfach und vom Handy aus kein Problem mit der App.

Der Router steht hinter einer sehr dicken (c.a. 1m) Sandsteinwand und das WLAN reicht gut durch alle Räume mit mehreren Wänden dazwischen. (Mind. 15m durch 4 Wände, 1 sehr dick, 3 normal).
Beide Frequenzen 2.4 und 5GHZ natürlich. 60GHZ kann ich nich testen, aber das hat scheinbar eine sehr geringe Reichweite.


Alles in allem kann ich diesen Router nur empfehlen. Betreibe ihn mit dem Fiber7 Kit con Digitec mit Fiber7.
