At Tamron, the All-In-One™ zoom lens development promises an exceptional new lens for digital full-frame SLR cameras.
In response to the growing popularity of digital full-frame SLR cameras, Tamron is now introducing its new, powerful full-frame zoom. It includes a PZD (Piezo Drive) stand-up ultrasonic motor that provides a nimble, almost silent autofocus, plus the much-vaunted VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilization plus a new high-quality design and attractive finish. This All-In-OneTM 28-300 mm lens offers first-class image quality
The advanced optical technology of this lens includes four LD (low dispersion) lens elements, three pressed aspherical lenses, one hybrid aspherical element, one XR (extra refractive index) element and one UXR (ultra extra refractive index) element with a higher refractive index than XR glass. The exclusive use of special glass elements makes this outstanding lens as compact and light as possible, while the effective minimization of aberrations ensures high image quality.
The PZD ultrasonic motor enables a noticeably faster and quiet autofocus - ideal for capturing spontaneous moments in razor-sharp images. It also offers the possibility to manually intervene in the focusing at any time.
VC image stabilization (vibration compensation)
The proven Tamron VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilizer ensures sharp and shake-free images in this lens. This means that the lens can also be used perfectly with hand-held shots or in low light.
The elaborate lens design is splash-proof. This makes this lens also suitable for demanding outdoor photography.…more
