Product details
The tube amplifier T.A.C. K-35 stands for outstanding sound and an excellent price-performance ratio. So it was only a logical consequence to provide this device with an adequate source.
With the T.A.C. C-35, T.A.C. has succeeded in doing this.
Committed to the sound, a CD player has been created which not only meets the highest external standards. Under the dress of aluminium and acrylic hides the experience of over 15 years of device development and production. And since the Tube Amp Company T.A.C. stands for consistent tube use in the signal path, the C-35 has a few tubes placed in the sound path. This is how a 6N10 does the work of operating the headphone output. Tube sound therefore also here. The other two 12AX7 are in the signal path and operate in the audio output. However, since these double triodes are not yet fully loaded with the signals, one part is entrusted with voltage stabilization.
With the PCM1732, a proven decoder from Burr Brown works in the digital part. This high-end audio application developed circuit works with a sampling rate of 96kHz and 24bit data, which allows High Definition Compatible Digital (HDCD) to be read. Whatever happens in C-35. The 8x oversampling rounds off the very good features of the decoder.
