The STEVAL-ISF003V1 VIPER26LD power front-end evaluation board from STEVAL-ISF003V1. The STMicroelectronics STEVAL-ISF003V1 evaluation board is a power front-end with inrush current limitation that loses little power in standby mode. It activates the limitation or inrush current that charges a DC bus capacitor. STEVAL-ISF003V1 offers a solution to drastically reduce standby losses. The DC bus can be disconnected from the AC mains input if it is not needed for operation. The separation takes place by switching off the thyristors. No relay is required to open the circuit in standby mode. Features and benefits DC bus isolation in standby (reduces losses below 0.3 W) Inrush current according to IEC61000-3-3 operation allowed with PFC (continuous or discontinuous) Conformity with: EN 55015 and IEC 61000-4-11.more
