Description

The RX0 is waterproof, shockproof, break-proof and features a multi-layer 1-inch Exmor RS sensor with a resolution of 15.3 megapixels and a 24mm F4 ZEISS Tessar wide-angle lens.

The camera allows shutter speeds of up to 1/32,000 seconds and records up to 16 frames per second. Also in terms of video no wishes remain unfulfilled. 40x Super Slow Motion, S-Log2 image profile and uncompressed 4K HDMI output are the keywords here.

Waterproof to 10m and tough

The RX0 is waterproof to a depth of ten meters - in the new MPK-HSR1 housing even up to 100 meters[v]. The camera is shock-resistant up to a drop height of two meters and unbreakable at up to 200 kgp/ 2000 N, allowing it to be used even under the most difficult shooting conditions under which conventional cameras fail.

Excellent video recording

The RX0 is designed to be used by both photographers and filmmakers. That's why it also has a number of creative video functions. For users who want to record material in super slow motion, the RX0 offers the possibility to film with up to 1000 frames per second and to capture even everyday moments in a spectacular way.

For the most flexible production possible, uncompressed video material can be output to an external recorder via a Clean 4K HDMI output. Using MF Assistant and various peaking functions, focus can be adjusted to suit individual preferences, and image profile options and S-Log2 offer creative possibilities. Functions for inserting a time code or stamp significantly simplify the editing process, especially when shooting with several cameras simultaneously. With the ability to preset the focus, users have more control in such shooting situations.

Wide range of accessories

To make optimum use of the potential of the RX0, the range of accessories has also been expanded accordingly: For example, the VRX0CT-CGR1 housing provides even more flexibility, while the MPK-HSR1 housing makes the RX0 ready for depths of up to 100 metres.

Diese Kamera unterstützt kein 4K für Video. Diese Kamera kann allerdings bis zu 1000 Bilder pro Sekunde in FullHD aufzeichnen.

Trotz der Überhitzungsproblem, ist es wohl die einzige mini Kamera momentan, mit so guter Bildqualität.

Super Kamera, klein, Top Bildqualität, leider überhitzt die Kamera bereits nach 15 - 30 Minuten.

RX0 (7.70 - mm, 21MP, 16FPS, Wi-Fi)

Für mich eine spannende Erweiterung meiner Sony-Familie

Ich nutze die RX0 "nur" als Fotokamera, als Ergänzung zu meiner RX1R und A7R2. Die RX0 ermöglicht mir, sie in Positionen zu bringen, in die ich mit den anderen Kameras gar nicht oder nur schwierig gelangen würde.
In den ersten Tagen habe ich so schon Bilder von unserem Hund oder von Schnee- und Eisformationen gemacht, die ich sonst nicht hätte machen können. Bis jetzt habe ich die Auslösung von Hand oder mit Hilfe der App von Sony auf meinem iPhone gemacht. Die Kommunikation zwischen RX0 und iPhone ist nicht immer einfach herzustellen, die App hat sicher noch Verbesserungspotential.
Von der Bildqualität der RX0 bin ich überzeugt. Ich speichere die Bilder im RAW-Format und bearbeite sie weiter in Lightroom Classic. Somit integriert sich die RX0 nahtlos in meinen normalen Workflow.
Die RX0 ist herrlich klein, verschwindet praktisch in der Hand und erlaubt so Aufnahmen ohne Aufmerksamkeit zu erwecken, dies gilt sowohl für Tiere wie für Menschen.
In der Winterkälte hier in Grimentz ist die Batterielebensdauer nicht überragend, eine Ersatzbatterie hat mir schon ab und zu geholfen, aber das bin ich mir von den Sony-Kameras sowieso schon gewohnt.
Positiv überrascht haben mich die Serienbilder der RX0 und wie schnell der Autofokus auf sich bewegende Objekte reagiert. Unseren im Schnee spielenden Hund hatte ich immer scharf im Bild und das in spannenden, ungewöhnlichen Perspektiven.
Ich freue mich schon darauf, die RX0 auf meine nächste Indienreise mitzunehmen. Sie wird mir sicher Bilder liefern, die mich überraschen werden.
Da ich schon Sony-Kameras besitze fand ich mich in der Menüstruktur sofort wieder zurecht. Die Benutzerführung ist sehr ähnlich und erleichtert mir den Einstieg in die RX0.
