A television tuner converts an RF television transmission into audio and video signals which can be further processed to produce sound and a picture. Different tuners are used for different television standards such as PAL, NTSC, ATSC, SECAM, DVB-C, DVB-T, ISDB, T-DMB, open cable.

VHF/UHF TV tuners are rarely found as a separate component; however cable boxes serve as a separate tuner, and have channel 3/4 outputs so they can serve as a cable-ready emulator for TVs that aren't cable-ready, and often feature composite, S-video, or component video outputs so they can be used on video monitors that do not have a TV tuner, or ones whose tuner is not working. They are usually bundled with a monitor, VCR, and/or DVR. However, they do exist for use by members of the television industry, and may be purchased on Internet Auction Sites, such as eBay.

Ausgezeichnetes Bild

Ds Bild ist ausgezeichnet. Sehr hell und klar. Kräftige Farben, welche aber nicht künstlich aussehen wie bei vielen anderen. Nur wenig DSE, kein Clouding. Local Dimming funktioniert trotz wenig Zonen sehr gut. Die Ecken sind dunkler, was im täglichen Betrieb aber nicht auffällt. Ton und OS kann ich nicht beurteilen, da alles über externe Geräte geht (Swisscom TV, AVR).
Das Netzteil ist extern. Das Kabel vom TV zum Netzteil ist ca. 1.5 Meter lang, vom Netzteil zur Steckdose ebenfalls ca. 1.5 Meter. Diese Angabe ist wichtig, wenn der TV an die Wand soll, was bei mir der Fall ist. Das Netzteil ist zwar lang aber relativ Flach, so das es gut unter ein Lowboard passt.…more

Tolles Bild, Reaktionszeit ist okay. Audio wird über Home Cinema Anlage gesteuert. Das Netzteil ist extern und gross.

Guter Tv mit super Bild

Musste mich schweren Herzens von meinem Sterben Panasonic Plasma trennen. Nach langer Suche nach einem vergleichbaren Bild bin ich immer wieder bei Sony gelandet. Der 9005er hat ein Super scharfes Bild ohne künstlich überzeichnet zu wirken, wie man es bei den meisten anderen grossen Herstellern findet. Über das Android kann ich nur sagen, das Netflix und Plex super funktionieren. Den Ton kann ich nicht bewerten da ich über ein AV Receiver höre. Alles in allem, Preis Leistung stimmt.…more
