    As far as I can tell, everything is tip-top. The only drawback that disappoints me in this price range is the fact that the WLAN cannot be switched on and off time-controlled. It does have a time manager module, but only for the firewall rules, not to control the WLAN. (Clarified with Studerus)

    Unit TOP only outdated firmware!

    At the beginning only trouble!
    In the end top, as expected from Zyxel.

    The box says firmware 4.33.
    After registering with myZyxel, however, 4.25 was recognised. This firmware has a quirk. The compulsory! path through the     wizard is unavoidable for the 1st set-up run. However, the wizard gets stuck at the registration recognition although the device is registered with mail confirmation.

    Approx. 5 hours later (spread over a week, as Zywall was at home and I was at work) with Zyxel support + tests with UPC modem in bridge mode and DHCP + various browsers was the solution:

    Establish SSH connection with PuTTy; load latest firmware 4.62 with FTP connection and put command >>> Everything works!

    Either supplied with outdated firmware by the manufacturer or in stock at Digitec for 1000 years.
