Zeiss Touit - the other choice!

As an enthusiastic Fujinon photographer, I now dared to buy a Zeiss Touit. And I am totally enthusiastic. I already had the Fujinon XF 35/1.4 and the 35/2.0 WR. Both very good lenses. But the famous Zeiss crisp sharpness fascinates!

    Pro

    • crisp sharp!
    • vivid colors!
    • Haptics
    • presentation and packaging
    • rich in contrast

    Contra

    • poorly deliverable
  • teebaum

Completely different image impression than the Fuji 35mm 1.4

A very sharp and extremely contrasty lens with a 'poppy' image impression and occasionally a bit choppy bokeh, but overall certainly more universally usable than the Fujinon 35/1.4, which gives off more of a retro vibe.
    The
rubber coating of the rings is unfortunately a mistake, due sun visor too large, but this can be replaced.

    Pro

    • Nice and sharp already at 1.8
    • Rich in contrast
    • Universally usable
    • Easy
    • Small

    Contra

    • Haptics (rubber coating)
    • Occasionally rather unsteady bokeh (compared to Fuji 35/1.4)
    • Expensive

Fuji has its own 35mm optics which are top. However, the f1.4 is too lame and noisy in AF mode. Actually, I wanted to test the optics, but since I have it, I give it no more.

    Good optics, ideal for Fuji

    Pro

    • Micro contrast
    • Sharpness
    • Weight
    • AF volume

    Contra

    • "Only" f/1.8
    • possibly price, although "you get what you pay for".
