    Tiptop

From my point of view, the sound quality and all the functions I need (radio/dab/bluetooth) are flawless and easy to use. The only thing that could be criticised is the price and the long switching time between the different functions.

Good entry-level device, but if you want good sound, try it out first.

Tested with good speakers and high expectations. An older YAMAHA RX-V450 served as a comparison to the noise.

My unit? Has slight noise in the form of hiss and 100Hz hum. Quiet, of course, but loud in comparison to other
amplifiers, you can hear it very close to the listening position 4m away!
DAB+ is broadcast in Switzerland with about 70kB/s (as of May 2018, wikipedia), for comparison, a mediocre MP3 has 192kB/s. For me, DAB+ does not sound convincing. Since I bought the amplifier partly for DAB+ and thus good sound, a disappointment.

    Everything else is tip-top.

    after 5 years scrap

The unit began to smell burnt, I disassembled the thing and discovered various bad solder joints, loose resistors. Despite re-soldering, the amplifier no longer switches on. I expected better quality from Yamaha.
