Buy recommendation; for this price, there is nothing better in terms of sound.

I can only recommend this piece of "Hifi". A top stereo system with an outstanding sound. I don't mean those "wumper-dumper" systems with more bass than sound. In a small footprint, this system brings everything you want to spend sound-wise under roof. Via MusicCast, the system can be wonderfully controlled via iPhone. I mostly listen to internet radio, which I have set up by genre in my favorites bar of the app.

    Pro

    • Sound
    • No unnecessary buttons and switches
    • Design for adults
    • Stable in value
    • Looks classy (except remote control)
    • Sound of the speakers

    Contra

    • Musiccast app could be more intuitive

    Dreamlike mini plant

Very beautiful, noble music system, was delivered cleanly and sturdily packed.
Whoever decides to buy the system must be aware that this is not a micro-system.the devices and the speakers are relatively large (close to normal
    hi-fi components).
Connected to the LAN (optionally also W-LAN), the system fulfils almost all wishes.
Be it the streaming of music services, internet radio (with RDS), DAB+ and FM radio (both of which are of course virtually obsolete due to the internet connection), CD player, stereo receiver/amplifier (PureDirecht option), AirPlay, USB DAC, enough analogue and digital connections. Everything is very clean and sturdily manufactured.
I use the system, for example, simultaneously for the TV sound, i.e. AppleTV (Netflix & Co.) goes via Toslink to the system, the TV itself (an older model) goes via dig.coax to the system. One press of a button and the system runs (synchronously), which is simply fun due to the clean and clear sounding speakers with significantly more bass foundation and mid-range than any TV could provide.

The CD drive is absolutely silent and ready to go quite quickly, as is the whole system. What I don't find perfect is the indoor antenna for DAB+ and FM reception. You can (with a few tricks, because the system has an F-connector!) connect the unit to the normal coaxial network (where the TV and radio get their signal via cable).
The sound..is clean and clear.I also have 2 pieces of Play:1 here and the Yamahas sound a lot more differentiated and offer a much wider spectrum. Not Loudness(home party)-like, but clean and structured.
What I miss a little, but really only slightly, is bass, but that's due to physics, I'd rather have clean mids and highs than loudness.

So from me absolutely *thumbs up for this piece of craftsmanship, I would buy again.

    Super plant

Price / performance is OK. Beautiful piano lacquer of the boxes. The sound is a little too sharp for my taste, too tinny. The midtones and highs are for me a little too much in the foreground. DAB+ runs great with throw antenna. Easy to install favorites. Internet radio also runs without much effort. That's how DIGITAL should work. Now I'm looking for multiroom and hope that also runs so problermlos. So far 5 stars. Only that with the speakers, which I actually do not need, because I already have very good, is a small downer.

    Pro

    • Very good workmanship
    • Sound quality good (a little tinny)
    • Easy to install.
    • Software self-explanatory
    • Fast (very) delivery service
    • Online advice OK

    Contra

    • Speakers cannot be cancelled
    • Few connection options
