    Good approach to a "hybrid smartwatch", but with major shortcomings...

    In itself a practical "hybrid smartwatch" with a long battery life.
    Unfortunately, the first watch had a battery defect after 2 months and the watch glass kept fogging up --> The watch was replaced with the same model.

    The     second watch had massive problems with trapped condensation. This went so far that the watch could no longer be read and large drops of water were deposited in the centre....
    Unfortunately, the clock cannot be used like this!

    • Long battery life (almost 3 weeks for the 2nd model)
    • Automatic measurement of sleep phases

    Contra

    • Problems with condensation
    • Clock glass constantly fogged up, makes it impossible to read the built-in display.
    • The design of the app takes some getting used to

    I would not buy the watch again

    Too bad, beautiful design, but condensation again and again. Even a replacement watch (warranty) is no better. I also have the feeling that the heart rate measurement is inaccurate and sometimes no values can be determined for a long time.

    From my point of view, no purchase recommendation because of the condensation problem outdoors!

    Unfortunately, I already had condensation problems with my first Withings Steel HR 40, now also with the replacement watch.
    Since, according to the internet, many owners have the same problem and according to the manufacturer     this is normal, the watch is not a quality product in my opinion.

    • Condensation problem outdoors, therefore miserable quality
    • Display difficult to read in sunlight
    • Sleep analysis triggered sleep disturbances in me, probably too high radiation exposure
