  Would not recommend

  It takes me a long time to actually write a review of a product.
  
  I've used the thing for a while now and will probably buy a new one soon. The device whistles so loudly at low voltages that I have to switch it off again after 5 minutes because it's starting to hurt my ears.
  
  The instructions are super tedious to read.
  
  The current can only be limited after a load without limit has been connected. According to the operating instructions, a load should be attached with the current limit at the maximum and then the limit can be reduced. The position of the limit is not displayed. You only see this when the limit is not exceeded. This function is absolutely unusable (for me) and I cannot imagine that it is of any use to anyone.
  
  The red/black sample cables are not included in the package.
  
  The knobs have no resistance (no "click").
  
  Thus, in my opinion, also (and even more so) not recommended for beginners as a budget solution.
  
  Either I'm too spoiled by the devices I get from my employer or too stupid to understand this device, but I wouldn't buy it even for half the price. more
