    Miserable

    Previously I had the UE Boom 2, which really thrilled me. I thought the successor would surpass this by far, but far from it!
    Most of the standard features of the "old" UE Boom 2 have been removed, such as changing tracks     directly via the speakers -> has been removed. The 3.5mm Aux connection -> has been removed. A feature-poor & mostly non-functional app -> has been provided.

    In 2017 & still no USB-C port, UE should stand in a corner in shame!

    Merciless disappointment all along the line!

    • Alexa cannot be switched to German

    • No blow control (back/next title)

    • App (always) only recognises the loudspeaker after the second connection attempt
    • No USB-C

    Good Bluetooth speaker. Alexa could be greatly improved.

    A product like any other from Ultimateears. Perfect sound, robust, good battery life at a fair price. However, I expected more from Alexa. I also have a 2nd generation Echo. On the one hand, you're never quite sure what Alexa is doing because of the felching led ring. On the other hand, she is slower than on my Echo (same wifi network). Sometimes she listens, but then does not execute the command. If you listen to music with Alexa and then want to check the battery status, you have to wait 2 seconds for the Ue Mehablast (guess) to change the audio channel. I would also have expected a few extra features for Alexa. For example, to call up the battery status via a skill.

    Contra

    • Alexa was not implemented as well as with an original Echl from Amazon
    • In 2018, USB-C should be built in as a standard port.
    • No 3.5mm jack plug to connect Alexa to a sound system for a short time, for example.

    Finger off

    This unit is the disappointment of my purchases in recent years!!!
    Reason:
    1. difficult to establish a connection with Bluetooth. When switching between two devices, the connection must first be cut. Then search and connect     again.
    3. when charging via the Power UP, the Megablast switches on automatically all the time. Without pressing the start button at the top. This then "shot up" the respective Bluetooth connection of the IOS devices.
    4. the altitude! Now the Megablast no longer charges at all via the Power UP. DEATH!!!
    5. the sound quality is not outstanding either.
    I had paid CHF 314.00 in Dec. 2017.
