    Beautiful game, with a refreshing setting

    Far Cry 3 & 4 are both among my absolute favourite titles. Nevertheless, I hesitated for a long time to buy this title because I could not imagine how the game principle of Far Cry would work in 10,000 BC. And I have to say here: it works wonderfully, if not even better than in the predecessors. Instead of using firearms, you are constantly crafting spears and clubs, which force you to manage resources. But this makes the game very exciting and does not limit the gameplay.

    Primal offers beautiful graphics and a lovingly implemented environment. Several new predators, such as sabre-toothed tigers, hyenas and many more have been added. These also behave much more realistically than in the predecessor and the world thus seems very lively.

    • Beautiful landscape
    • Many wild animals
    • Lively and well believable fauna

    Contra

    • Less extensive than Far Cry 3 & 4
    • Story is not exactly the burner
    • After a few hours it becomes quite easy
    • Honeybadger is not as scary as in the predecessor :'(
