Ideal for drone pilots who only want to fly. Unsuitable for recording or FPV.

In the absence of useful other reviews, I feel obliged to write a short review of my favourite drone:
With stable flight characteristics and extremely good response to the slightest nuances of control, this quadcopter is
the best flying machine I have ever had. On the first 2 difficulty levels, it is child's play to control. In the expert mode it becomes more difficult, but this also allows aerobatics due to the lack of axis limitation. There are also both programmed and programmable tricks (flips/spins).
Another quality feature is the stability: the stable construction also forgives gross flight errors, i.e. you can let the thing crash onto the asphalt without pointing and still fly with it afterwards (I haven't tried out what happens if you sink it in the lake yet).
The disadvantage of not having a camera is also an advantage: neighbours feel less observed when you fly around the neighbourhood (or at least they should, some don't understand). It should also be mentioned here that a camera can be purchased additionally for about 50 CHF, it also has an extra slot for it (as neither tinkering nor an additional battery is necessary). However, the quality of the pictures is very poor. So it is not for poseurs/selfieists.

    Pro

    • Stability (both in terms of flight characteristics and survival of crashes)
    • 3 difficulty levels
    • No bugs so far
    • Fast, agile
    • Sufficiently long flight time (approx. 15-20min/battery charge)

    Contra

    • No camera in the retail version
    • Poor pictures with camera upgrade

    Super entry model

I bought the Alias as a beginner model and this is exactly what it is for. Since one should first learn the flight controls, a camera would be an additional distraction component. The Alias crashed several times during my first flight attempts and crashed into objects in the flat but without any permanent damage. The battery performance including fast charging is also more than good compared to other models.
After 1 week of daily practice, I am very satisfied. In the meantime, unfortunately, one of the small drive wheels is slightly defective, but I was able to replace it (spare parts are available quite cheaply, in this case about 2 CHF).

    Pro

    • Battery, flight characteristics, material and build quality
    • very good instructions and packaging, good price-performance ratio
