    Never again Teufel products!

Ordered complete set of Raumfeld Speaker and Connector. With a device from the beginning had problems (defective tweeter). The device was sent to Teufel 3 times in the course of 1.5 years, supposedly repaired against payment and always sent back with the same defect. After several emails and phone calls, the final answer was: device defective (tweeter), cannot be repaired, return shipment or disposal.

Chaotic hotline, several emails and over 12 different, partly incompetent employees. Instead of goodwill, I get a TÜV certificate for Teufel's service and emails about how important service is at Teufel and how seriously they take it. My recommendation: Hands off! In case of technical problems, the annoyance and frustration is great.

(I will gladly share details and eMails if you are interested)

A great product from a sympathetic Berlin company as an alternative to Sonos that has given me a lot of pleasure for 2 years and now and then a little setup worries.

The sound of the Teufel One S is impressive, but logically does not come close to the One M let alone Stereo M. Can not quite understand the negative reviews here.

What you need to know if you decide for Teufel (and at most
    against Sonos):
+ No forced registration / No data octopus (as with Sonos).
    - not the development power of the much larger US company (does not support Airplay, for example, I do via Yamaha WXAD-10 which hangs on a line-in)
    - Bluetooth is only for local box, no streaming to the other possible (except via line-in and a Bluetooth audio adapter)
    - The level at the line-in input can unfortunately no longer be adjusted in the app, which can lead to overload depending on the source (as of April 2020)

    Stability:
Since Teufel does not build its own network, but uses the existing one, a stable WLAN or LAN is absolutely necessary if you want to operate multiple devices (in my case currently 8), especially if you stream a line-in signal to all boxes.

Note: Since the Fritzboxes / repeaters support mesh or I have various boxes now directly on the (devolo) LAN runs the whole thing very stable for me. also streaming on all 8 boxes simultaneously.

    To the setup:
The setup is not quite without. The setup of a box is relatively simple, but the app is not without bugs and I've already managed that I (after a move) only with factory reset at all boxes and re-set the whole thing to work again. The system doesn't like it when you change the location of a box. I don't know if the box remembers which repeater it was last connected to. If you don't have any IT knowledge, you might have to wait in line ... but the support is relatively competent once you get through the queue.
