    Recommended purchase for all those who do not need transcoding when streaming and do not need face recognition in the Photo Station.

    Absolutely TOP !!! If you don't need transcoding when streaming and no face recognition in the Photo Station, the J model is the best choice. Fantastic DSM operating system, chapeau Synology!!!

    Good NAS, good web UI

    Synology convinces me again and again. This is now my 4th NAS from Synology. I started with the DS-101J in 2006 and now I have the DS-218j.

    Very good web UI (DiskStation Manager), functional and versatile. Easy to use.
