purchased this productWorks well with limitations
That device does what it should. But only with the max. setting 4K 30Hz. 60Hz as specified by the manufacturer, the monitors remain black. The problem is not the cables. As they are 8K 60Hz certified cables.
Pro
- Dual monitor operation
- Switchable via keyboard
Contra
- Max. Resolution 4K 30Hz and not 60Hz
- StarTech support doesn't really bother

purchased this productWorks as expected with dual DisplayPort monitors (3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz)
This is the second StarTech KVM switch I've bought. The first one was a dual DVI monitor switch which I used without problem for years. I've now upgraded to dual DisplayPort monitors (3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz) and bought this KVM to use with them. Works well with no problems.

purchased this productWorks fine with the right cables
I connect two computers to the KVM switch. The keyboard, mouse and camera are shared. One computer is connected to the KVM switch via the DisplayPort, the other via the HDMI output. A special cable is needed for the computer with the HDMI output. The HDMI to DisplayPort cables generally don't work both ways! Bought this one and it works flawlessly: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/inline-hdmi-zu-displayport-konverter-kabel-1-m-hdmi-video-kabel-14460490?supplier=406802
