    This camera does what it should. For the compact design and the sensor size you get flawless quality. If you don't mind a few buttons for manual settings, this is probably the best camera on the market today.

    The image quality     can of course not keep up with an SLR camera (DX or FX), but the portability makes the RX100mk3 the ideal second camera for photo enthusiasts.

    Not recommended for beginners or beginners, because the camera only shows its strengths when you are familiar with the basics of exposure compensation and. RAW post-processing and the quick settings. Who wants to operate a snapshot camera in full automatic mode is here at the wrong address.

    Addendum:
    Camera bag in perfect size is e.g. the Cullmann Berlin RS Compact 180.
    Number of photos per battery varies, but under 400 RAW shots plus occasional videos I have not come.

    Currently the best camera, this camera is in a completely different league! The ideal partner next to my Nikon D800. The camera has everything you need, but unfortunately GPS was not built in.

    My first experiences with the DSC-RX100M3 5*...

    My first experiences with the DSC-RX100M3

    5* Photo quality with auto in average light
    4* Video recording with XAVC S (NTSC/60p)
    2* Instruction manual. Has many pages, a lot is not really explained....
    0* WLAN function     with MAC OSX 10.9.4 (I couldn't get it to work). In 1998 I would have forgiven that but in 2014, unforgivable!

    Opaque description. It is not clear from the manual how exactly to establish a WLAN connection with the Mac. Thanks to Google, you can find instructions and the required SW "WirelessAutoImport1401a.dmg". Unfortunately, the pairing does not work. The internet is full of frustrated "Sony" users who get no help from Sony.
