    Works, but not very well

    I took photos of the moon. Once at 600 mm (without converter) and once at 1200 mm (with converter). The photo without converter cropped to the crop with converter was almost sharper than the one at 1200 mm. Disappointing. I had similar experiences with the converter on the 70-200 GM.

    More weight, less speed same performance

    Tested the converter on my new 70-200 GMii. The image is indeed enlarged by 2 times. But if I create the image without the converter and crope it, the sharpness is exactly the same with much better speed. I have returned the converter.

    Ideal coupling

    With a 70-200 =140-400 but at F5.6
    and if you shoot and switch to APS-C mode = x1.5
    210-600 ^^
