    all too fragile, purchase takes revenge

    In principle, the headphones do not make a bad impression, but creaking noises are noticeable already during the first use, which suggests that the plastic is hard and brittle.
    The bad premonition was unfortunately justified.     After only a few months, the headband over the right shell broke. The shell is now hanging by a thread until it breaks off completely.
    The headband is also "in ruins" on both sides. It is holding, but a good part of the plastic has already broken off and cracks are running across the bracket.
    It can't be that people keep pointing out that it's not a Bose either. 100 francs is no Asian bargain. In this category, I can expect that it won't disintegrate into its atoms after a quarter of a year, or that I can only use it with kid gloves. That simply does not correspond to the reality of life and the normal use of headphones.
    If the standard XBox headphones from Microsoft, which cost half as much, have managed for half a decade to show not the slightest signs of use despite the most savage use, then the chemical formula for the plastic in the Skullcandy is simply not right. This is clearly a case of saving money at the wrong end of the production process. So the conclusion is: Hands off.

    DO NOT BUY!

    The sound is very good and the headphones fit comfortably on the ear. However, the plastic is so brittle that the headphones practically fall apart by themselves. Sometimes you can hear parts breaking while they are on your head (no, that's not a joke!). These should only be sold together with a very good glue (e.g. HG Schweissnacht from the bottle), then the life span is extended from 3 to approx. 9 months.

    Great headphones, but the temples broke quickly

    Bought two, both broke after a short time.
