    Very satisfied!

I use the adapter to be able to use Canon lenses on my Sony A7ii, in my case the Sigma ART 35mm F1.4. After the adapter got a software update without any problems, I immediately went out to test it. All functions run smoothly, the autofocus is fast. You hardly notice the adapter at all, as if it were a native Sony E mount lens on the A7ii.

AF only usable in bright daylight. Only focusable in the viewfinder centre field.

    Test cameras: Sony A7RII + A7RIII + A9.
Lenses: Canon EF 500/4 MkII and Canon EF 300/2.8 MkII.
    a) The AF only works within the central ninth of the sensor (viewfinder) area. So only within the central field if you put a
    3x3 grid on the viewfinder.
    b) When using Canon lenses with aperture 4, the AF already fails at 'quiet' twilight. When used with lenses with aperture 2.8 mag, the AF endures somewhat advanced twilight.
But a comparison of what Sony original lenses perform on a Sony camera in terms of twilight AF capability is disastrously at the expense of the Sigma MC-11 .
But other adapters like the Metabones and the Commlite (all tested) also have the same problems.

    I can highly recommend

Faster than Metabones, I mainly need it with the 70 - 200mm 2.8, and the Sony A9, with that it has almost no delay in focusing .
